Gina Brooke is an American beauty expert/makeup artist and recognized as one of the leading talents in the world of beauty.

 

Known as the creative force behind some of the most memorable beauty trends and the development of numerous award-winning beauty products. Brooke is most renowned for revolutionizing the false eyelash industry “Brooke’s miraculous feats of lash architecture and utterly transformative contouring didn’t come from thinking snug inside the box.” – SOMA Magazine. Through her creations of extraordinary false eyelash architecture most notably resting the world’s most expensive false diamond lashes sold at Neiman Marcus
at $10,000 a pair.

 

While known for her outstanding skill
as a makeup artist and her work with some
of the world’s most iconic faces, Brooke
is increasingly channeling her expertise
and artistry into collaborations with international beauty brands. Her vision and beauty philosophy is evident in the groundbreaking products she as Artistic Director and Global Beauty Consultant for leading cosmetic companies. 

 

By bringing awareness and her creative vision to companies, ranging from international conglomerates to niche brands, Brooke is an asset for those looking to nurture a distinct voice and develop an innovative product in a highly competitive market. Brooke continues to focus on product development with a conscious and ethical approach to beauty whilst encouraging consumers and brands to protect and preserve our planet.

Brooke’s dynamic approach to beauty and emphasis on “individuality” quickly attracted the attention of pop icon Madonna in 2003 – lead to over a decade of creative collaboration from countless editorials, album covers, red carpets, to video/film, media events, and five world tours.

 

In 2004, L’Oreal commissioned Brooke as the Artist Director to the Shu Uemura brand, where she hand created lashes that revitalized the false eyelash industry and attracted the media attention of the likes of Oprah Winfrey. During her tenure from 2004 - 2010, Brooke traveled extensively, expanding the brand opening Lash Bars creating media attention for L’Oréal in Japan, New York, London, and Paris as the global authority on false eyelashes.

 

In 2006, Brooke applied her artistic vision and created the now-iconic diamond lashes which set a record-breaking $10,000 per pair – The media frenzy was documented by every major fashion, beauty, and news outlets worldwide. 

 

In 2006, Brooke was awarded an MVPA (Music Video Production Award) for Best Makeup Artist.

 

“The foundation to beautiful makeup begins with the skin,” says Brooke, who has long been vocal about skincare. This philosophy led her to years of researching innovative skincare products and eventually to the Australian brand ‘Intraceuticals’. Where Brooke has served as Global Brand Ambassador from 2010 to the present. Brooke introduced her A list celebrity clientele to the brand from Katy Perry, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, Justin Timberlake, and Naomi Cambell name a few to the brand, all of whom provided an unpaid written testimonial in support of the brand.

In 2010, Brooke was drawn to Hourglass mission of reinventing the luxury cosmetics industry with their vegan and animal cruelty-free ideology and was signed on as the brand’s Artistic Director from 2010 - 2012. Utilizing her influence with the media and social media influencers, she opened stores with Hourglass worldwide.
 

In collaboration with LVMH Make Up For Ever brand, Brooke became an international trendsetter yet again, in 2012, when she brought her concept of unifying women of all ethnic backgrounds with the perfect red lip shade designed for all skin tones. During the period of 2012-2013, the industry reported an enormous rise in the sale of red lipsticks worldwide thanks to Brooke’s influence. 

 

In 2014 - 2016, Brooke was appointed Global Cosmetic Consultant for L’Oreal Group’s Urban Decay, where she utilized her expertise in product development for one of the top-selling brands at Sephora worldwide.

EARLIER LIFE 

 

Brooke grew up in New York City, where her love of art, photography, and design was fostered during her studies at Fashion
Institute of Technology. Gina Brooke is bi-coastal with homes in Southern California and New York.
